Lineapelle Asia, 30% of the world leather business meets regularly here, was held from 15-17th November 2007 at Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. According to the organizer, over 170 exhibitors around the world attended the fair, among which 65% came from Europe.
“Leather industry production in Guangdong is changing this year. OEM service is transferred from low-end products to European brand merchandise. In this situation, total value of the imported leather from Italy maintains 20%-30% growth annually.” Wu Ke, chief representative of China’s Office of Lineapelle Fair, said. Customs statistics revealed that main commodity exports of the leather industry amounted to .48 billion in the first half, up 9.1 percent year-on-year.
