The Adidas shoes that England football captain David Beckham wore during the FIFA 2006 World Cup were bound to get a lot of attention. In addition to the fact that Becks was wearing them, the boots themselves are a bright shade of blue. What you probably couldn't tell from seeing the shoes on television, is that each of the new +Predator Absolute David Beckham shoes features five lions, for a total of ten -- one for each of Beckham's team mates.
In a press release, Beck's said, "I am pleased to step on the pitch with my new Lion boots! Adidas couldn't have come up with a better design for the biggest and most important tournament in football. The design and fit is stunning and I look forward to wearing them in our first game against Paraguay."
